Small world 5-26
Greetings, hope you are well. Yesterday I attended an old-fashioned tent revival that says it is 24 hours/day for a week in Greenspoint area. They have renamed it God’spoint, claiming territory by force. For those unaware, that area is known as Gunspoint here locally. Once again, I went with the purpose of sharing Jesus but more so, got Jesus shared with me. I met spirit filled people who possessed powers and incite from on high. Julian Hill and family from Atlanta, Texas had committed to serve with this traveling revival of Pastor Shelby Crump that apparently has stops booked in Chicago, Bolivia and other places. A young 30ish couple with two children I met were all in for team Jesus. I came to find out the wife, former Ms. Hoge, knew my brother’s nephew-in-law Spud from high school in Atlanta. This Atlanta I had visited a couple times in the 70’s was a tiny town like Bugtussle, you know from, I think, Petticoat Junction TV show, where everybody knows everybody else and their business. Julian said “it’s a small world” when we met and I replied “or a God ordained one”. Then I was surprised when Julian’s wife took to the stage and this thin woman sang with an extremely powerful voice causing adults to dance unencumbered like children and with the children. She shared her testimony of cancer diagnosis and recovery, which may explain why they are so all in for God today. I wish I had time to tell the stories of all the amazing folks I met yesterday but the most important were the 15-16 who took the walk at altar call last night. Remember: it is a small world when God directs our paths.
