Journeys 7-8
Salutations, my friend. My mind is rambling about vacations, and how it is usually not the destination but the journey that brings us the most joy. It took many years before I began to enjoy being stuck on the Houston freeways. It can be a daily event but when I discovered it brought time to listen to John Osteen tapes, to pray, to think things through or to just bounce to the beat of a good song, I began to look forward to it. Life is similar, isn’t it? When I am grateful for the journey, I find peace and joy. Let us remember to thank God for the journey, then enjoy the beautiful destination.
