Attitude +/- 6-7

Yo peeps. I am rehashing a conversation with a friend that was worried about his housing situation. Circumstances were such that he may have to relocate suddenly and did not know where or how that would unfold. I called him out, in love, about his negative viewpoint on his situation. He was leaning towards self-pity and if he did not snap out of it, he was probably headed to Depression Avenue. Being slow witted, I now wish I had helped him discern that he was listening to his flesh speaking negatively to his mind. If he listened to his spirit, who only speaks the truth of the Word, he would recall that the birds do not worry about where they will roost at night or where their next meal will come from. I certainly regret I did not have that kind of discernment in my youth or even through my middle aged struggles. Now, my faith view would be that God has a plan to promote me to a better living arrangement. Let us remember to be the bird and trust that God will provide richly according to our needs.
