Original Sin 7-28
Good morning, hermanos y hermanas. It is hotter than a firecracker outside and so am I inside. I recently advised a younger brother to be bold and I need to drink some of that same medicine myself. Faint of heart, you may want to cover your ears but here we go anyway. Why do we teach about apple eating in the Garden of Eden story? Why can’t we speak the truth, clearly, to prevent children from having children and/or prevent the many broken families? I believe Eve did the nasty with Satan, leader of the fallen angels, while being married to Adam. And when she told him, he agreed to a threesome. Sure, that takes some reading between the lines, but they didn't cover up their private parts when God came by to visit for nothing. Then, they both confessed Satan’s part in the act but did not take any responsibility for their own actions. “Out, out, out of my house,” said the loving Father. “Repent and live right for one day (1000 years) and then you can return to live in Paradise with Me”. The first generation of people lived up to 969 years, as it is recorded in the bible. To this day, perverted sexual lusts are probably the number one temptation that befalls us. Maybe, if we boldly spoke the hard truth, openly, we could prevent some of the 12–13-year-olds walking around with a swollen belly and/or save a broken family or two.
