We have not for we ask not 5-17
Good morning Jesus. I have been writing a list of topics to ramble on about and it has grown to a dozen or so. But every day I review them to decide which one I should pursue a new subject pops in my head. Today that subject is we have not because we ask not. I cannot count the number of times I struggled with a decision, a sickness or even an important meeting for days or weeks before it occurred to me to ask God. Duh, on the meetings I would then ask God for wisdom on it. Did you know wisdom is referred to in Proverbs using the female pronouns her or she? Invite her to visit and she will impart her knowledge and understanding it says. That makes me wonder about the whole female intuition thing. Once I saw a woman at the Renaissance Festival bent over a trash barrel calling for RRRALPHH. She said she had been on a pub crawl. She said she did not usually drink so much. I prayed with her calling for JESUS and a few minutes later she found me to say thank you as she was feeling better. In my best Jesus voice I replied, “Go my child and sin no more”. LOL. I had experienced the same myself too many times. Let us remember what a friend we have in Jesus.
