Hello. I am debating the words transparency vs confession in my mind this morning. They seem very similar to me and, in our cancel culture today, they can be increasingly difficult to achieve. Maybe the Catholics have something right with the confessional booths? Confessing our most intimate sins and situations to a trusted man, that is devoted to God, whether he is called Pastor, Priest or Reverend, can lead us to forgiveness. I have read the veil was torn and we can go to God ourselves, but everybody may not have that kind of relationship yet. It also gives our chosen spiritual leader personal information that he can use to minister to us more fully. The bottom line is this; I remember to thank God for His grace, mercy and forgiveness.
