Wisdom 7-4
Hello. My mind rambles this morning on Alexis, a 27 year-old young lady that could easily pass for a high schooler. She told me she was a military brat and shared stories from Germany to Japan, with stops in between. College educated, promising career and a writer to boot, all pointing to a bright future. But it left me remorseful of my ignorant, immature and partially wasted youth. Maybe I could play the lack of a grandmother in my life card; as I hear, repeatedly, from other people about grandmas that passed down their wisdom. In early society, and sometimes still today, grandmothers were charged with caring for the children as the parents worked. They passed down their life’s wisdoms as they went about tending to them. If your grandmother is still alive, remember to visit or to call her and thank her; while there is still time.
