Literally?  5-31

Ola ya’ll. Buenos Dios. I have awakened today confused in my understandings of God’s Word. The main source of my confusion is the difference of literal vs. figurative interpretations of scripture. I have never been a chapter and verse memorizer as some bible scholars and never wanted to because I heard many Pastors say they renounce some of the doctrines they learned in seminary school. Some bible verses are literal like trials and tribulations we will face then some are figurative like being washed in the blood of the Lamb. Add in that some, I believe, can be both at the same time. My main one this morning is I know angels harken when hearing the spoken Word but have heard it said they do not hear my voice. Rather they hear God’s voice. I am debating whether that may be literal, figurative or both? I think it a blessing that God directs me as I am because if I knew more, I certainly would of over-thunk it in situations I found myself in. Therefore, I probably may not have acted with boldness (ignorance?) in the moment at honkytonks, in the workplace, etc. I possibly would have missed out on the signs, wonders and miracles I was blessed to be a part in. It is getting so hard to keep these posts short and condensed. Remember sometimes we should act boldly, when led by the Holy Spirit, instead of overthinking it and missing the moment.
