Honor thy Mother
I guess today at the forefront of my mind is my mother. Her name was Vincencia Luella but we all knew her just as Mom. As I reflect on my siblings and their children and their children's children, I "see" Mom did well in training up a child. Oh, we all strayed a little but I do not believe we departed from it. Two thumbs up for Mom. I wait with eager anticipation on our inevitable reunion. What a wild celebration that is going to be Mom. I have submitted your name in the best mom ever competition, fingers crossed for your victory. In honor of Mother's Day I attached a U-tube video of a song called Mama by Pastor Eddie B that resonated in my soul while listening to it. Funny how that stuff works as I have had that Eddie B's cd sitting on my shelf for decades collecting dust. When I saw it I could not remember where I got it or even who was the artist. The cd cover was low budget and only had a lightning bolt on it. I not only had to put on reading glasses but pulled out the magnifying glass in addition to read the fine print on the cd label. I googled Ed Dieb with no results then typed in the edddieb.net address to visit the website listed. No such website exists today. Anyways if anyone's interested I found his new site is convictionforchrist.org. Well, I have veered way off course and want to just say remember to honor thy mother today. Even if you are not feeling it, because that is not God's suggestion it is fuel for the soul.Â
