Let your light shine  5-10

Hello out there in Facebook land, land, land, land. Is that just me or did anyone else hear an echo in here? Well in my imagination I heard someone saying, "You! You are giving out parenting advise, the audacity". Yep true dat. I plead guilty on all charges of being a terrible parent. But I prefer to see it as boldness rather than audacity as my heart is to prevent others from taking the rocky roads with many pitfalls I traveled down. In fact I also feel unqualified and unworthy to speak about God's word and His ways. But I choose to plod forward with my eyes focused on Jesus, only looking back to remember where I came from but not letting myself linger too long. When self-pity sets in and the tears flow I know it is time to refocus forward again with my eyes on Jesus. I have suffered many bouts of doubting Thomas syndrome running my race. OK it is now a fast-paced walk but at least I am going in the right direction today. Do you know darkness is not a thing? I mean there is not a darkness switch you can say, "Hon, while your up please turn up the darkness a little". What is the speed of darkness? Zero mph right because it does not move. Darkness is defined as the absence of light. We can turn up the light via a dimmer switch. Light travels at, I am not sure, but a set mph number because it is a measurable thing. Food for thought right. So remember to turn up your light today and let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.
