My Poems

I will post some of the poems I had written a couple decades ago that I recently found in a closet storage box. Go ahead and laugh if you want but I still gotta be me. The first one here I titled salvation.

Salvation

Seasons of love,

coming from above,

settle gently on the afflicted soul.

Softening the leather exterior,

to expose the intended interior,

possessed by all God’s children.

Thumpity, thump, thump,

the pulse is aflitter,

deep in the Christians heart.

The grand design,

one’s destiny from the start,

plays out in vivid color.

Before unbelieving eyes,

youthful bliss causing many to miss,

the signs leading to the narrow path.

Set in familiar ways and reluctant to make any waves,

sucked into a vortex of desires.

Until touched by the Hand,

spine tingling from heavens holy band,

the mountain top is reached

Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

Praise the Lamb.
