Spoiler Alert  8-7

I am pondering why I hear mature Christians discussing tribulations and great tribulations from a place of fear. I know that unsaved individuals need to hear about their destiny if they do not change their ways and accept the truth, but Christians should have no fear or anxiety. I have read the end of the book and if you just want to feel fear and enjoy the drama as it unfolds, you should stop reading now. Spoiler Alert: The reborn Christians are victorious, overcomers and are spared the horrible stuff that is foretold in Revelations. We are supposed to be telling the unbelievers that they can join us and be on the winning team too. We only need to call out the name of Jesus and speak out the word of God for evil to depart from us. Evil powers can see the seal of God on us and their only strategy is to convince us to renounce Jesus, if possible. But the whole armor of God is impenetrable, and it includes our offensive weapon of the spoken word of God. I need to remember to tell evil powers and the tares that they influence that “No weapon formed against me shall prosper” and “When I am weak, then am I strong, in Christ Jesus”.
