Because of Free Will 7-27
Wat up? Me and you, for one. I stumbled the other day when asked the common question, “Why would a loving God let all these bad things happen”? It was the reason this man gave for abandoning the church. I have answered that question before but could not get it out, coherently, this time. I believe it is mainly about our free will to decide between doing good or doing evil, acting with kindness or with malice. God did not create man to be a programmable robot to serve Him, but desired true fellowship with us. In addition, the basic instructions before leaving earth manual explains that the tares (weeds) are allowed to grow beside the wheat until harvest time, because some wheat would be cut down, prematurely, along with them. Today, I remembered to thank God for not cutting me down early, the many times I misidentified myself as a tare and was an active member of their assembly. Father, I pray that you send another to answer that man’s question, more clearly, and rescue a lost sheep that cried out in the wilderness.
PS: Go get 'em, Team Jesus!
