Festival of Light 2 5-22
Morning ya’ll. Thank you, Jesus. I returned to the Strawberry Festival to show support for the prayer team that had a booth in the convention center. Mostly I was there for myself though as I had a blast on Friday night. I stopped at a second prayer booth because the sign said, “Prove you are a good person and receive $100”. Having just left church with a fresh filling of Living Water in my spirit, I felt it was a sure $100 bill in my pocket. Well, I did not articulate then what I should of said and left without the cash. You see, I pled the blood of Jesus to wash me clean and told the man I was now in God's eyes the righteousness of Christ. He and his wife read to me scripture after scripture to prove I was still not a good person. I wish I had told him of my MPD condition (multiple person disorder) and explained that although my mind and body persons were not entirely good, my spirit person only speaks the Word to my mind. In fact, I believe that Jesus’ spirit visited and indwelled my spirit person yesterday morning. I conclude that although my total being is not good, my spirit person is a good person. But that is not my point. It is that, although well intentioned, the man was trying to save an already saved soul in his presentation. In the Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth, it says the young drink milk but mature Christians need manna (solid food) from God. Infants cannot consume solid foods yet. I have more to say but I see this is already gotten too long. Remember to discern your audience. Then feed infants milk and mature Christians manna.
