that we know to be true.

Pain rises from the ashes,

broken promises leave us blue.

Reality causing dreams to abort.

Fear of love is next,

hide our hearts within.

Some use walls, some use masks,

few sustain isolation.

Loneliness bitter in any context.

Perseverance is the key.

Life’s mysteries eventually unwind.

Bring us the inner wisdom,

missing in youth, now we find.
